After the success of the first two editions, with the participation of 30 universities and more than 5,000 people in 200 activities, the ENUIES Network, of CIRIEC-Spain, is once again calling the Centres, Institutes, Chairs and other research structures in Social Economy to the celebration of the 3rd University Week of the Social Economy, which will take place from 21 to 31 March 2022.
CIRIEC invites the different research structures to organise one or more activities related to the Social Economy, in online or face-to-face format, each one from their own centre, faculty or university, on one of the proposed days, and thus jointly complete a broad agenda of events to make the Social Economy visible from the university environment.
The last day, Thursday 31 March, will be dedicated for a joint activity of the ENUIES Network, CIRIEC and the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA), which will be held online and which this year will be dedicated to the European Social Economy Action Plan.
The 3rd University Week will also be held as part of the preparations for the 33rd CIRIEC International Congress on Public, Social and Cooperative Economy, which will take place from 13 to 15 June in Valencia, organised by the Spanish section of CIRIEC in collaboration with CIRIEC-International, and with the participation of ENUIES Network researchers and professors themselves, who will have the opportunity to present the event at the exhibitions they organise.”.
The organisation promotes the participation of social economy agents in the activities.
Each university centre can organise activities according to its objectives, resources and availability. Conferences, round tables, exhibitions, book presentations, workshops or specific training, among others, can be organised. In short, the aim is to bring the Social Economy to the University and vice versa, to show what is being done in the University for the Social Economy. To this end, the ENUIES Network wants to involve social economy agents and their families in the #SemanaUniversitariaES.
New this year, a prize will be awarded for the best activities during the Week at the event on 31 March.
All research structures are invited to participate in the University Week of the Social Economy 2022, by submitting their proposals until 7 March, using the following form: https://bit.ly/semana-universitaria-ES-2022. Entities representing the sector are also encouraged to collaborate in the University Week by participating in the activities and disseminating them through their partners, networks and media.
