A special issue of the CIRIEC International journal Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics has just been released on: “How do commons contribute to guarantee access to essential public goods and services?”.
Edited by Philippe Bance (University of The French Antilles, France) and Jérôme Schoenmaeckers (University of Liege, Belgium), this issue presents, through 7 articles and a prospective introductory paper, examples of practices, implementation modalities and topical issues concerning the access to essential public goods and services in various sectors (micro-credit, food systems, forests and pastures) and countries (in particular France, India, Italy, Romania).
It also deals with transversal issues such as governance, cooperation, collective action, regulation, financiarization…
