The first issue of the REVES Magazine on Public Policies and Social Economy has been released. This new publication stems from the necessity to collect insights and experiences within and beyond the REVES Network in this field, involving social economy actors, policymakers, and local public administrations. The aim is to dig deeper into various key topics for social economy in the EU and its member states, providing perspectives from leaders, professionals and researchers.
The inaugural edition is dedicated to the theme of “Co-production of policy”, highlighting the added value and unique position of REVES: bringing together local administrations and social economy actors to co-design policies and actions.
Contributors to this issue include the President of REVES, Ana Umbelino, and Ricardo Rio, a Portuguese economist and politician currently serving as the mayor of Braga; Barbara Trachte, the Secretary of State for the Brussels-Capital Region; Álvaro Porro, former Commissioner for Social Economy and Local Development of the Barcelona City Council; and Professor Carlo Borzaga from the University of Trento and Euricse.
